The Aria+ offers excellent value and cost-effectiveness, with two available options. The Aria+ mattress features the latest air cell technology to create a comfortable, effective pressure care and prevention mattress. The air cells instantly respond when users reposition, redistributing pressure areas to prevent pressure injuries. The mattress can be used independently for patients with lower risk or up to level 2 pressure injuries. Alternatively, when combined with the Aria+ pump, it can provide treatment and prevention for category 3 and 4 pressure wounds.
The Aria+ Mattress Features
The mattress design features a foam head cell and five pairs of transverse air cells, each with a unique foam-profiled insert. These cells are arranged within a foam U core and covered with a waterproof, vapour-permeable cover. The transverse cells come in alternating pairs of A and B cells, which the mattress activates and deactivates in a sequential pattern for maximum comfort. The single pillow end is made entirely from comfortable, supportive foam.
The Aria+ mattress features several innovative features, including the Zone Zero feature that suspends the heel, resulting in zero pressure. It is a valuable aid for preventing and treating heel ulcers, including those in category 4. The Heel Slope is designed with a decline to prevent pressure ulcers in one of the most susceptible areas of the body. The Waterfall Flap ensures that fluids do not penetrate the cover and damage the foam. The Anti-Shear design minimises tissue damage caused by shear and friction, and the Responsive Foam with microclimate properties allows air to flow through the foam, keeping the body cool and dry.
The Aria+ Pump
The Aria+ Pump is also sophisticated, with a body sensitivity feature that rapidly modifies the pressure of the mattress based on even the slightest movements, providing quick relief to the user. The pump's maximum weight capacity is 250kg, making it suitable for some bariatric clients. Additionally, all the pump parts are interchangeable, increasing the product's lifespan and minimising its environmental impact.
