The CuroCell® AREA Zone is a self-adjusting mattress replacement system designed to prevent and treat pressure ulcers up to category 3. Combining the comfort of foam with the pressure-relieving properties of air, this mattress offers an optimal balance of support and comfort. The mattress features nine air cells divided into zones, allowing for a fully individualised setting that adapts to each user’s needs.

This non-powered mattress system requires no electric pump, making it easy to use and maintain. It is ideal for all care environments and offers reliable performance in key areas of pressure, shear, and moisture control—essential for preventing and treating pressure ulcers.

Constructed with high-resilience cold foam layers and a built-in heel function, the CuroCell® AREA Zone helps reduce pressure on sensitive areas, such as the heels. The mattress’s hygienic design includes welded seams for added durability and a liquidproof hygiene cover that is easy to clean and maintain.
